RECRUITMENT WILL BE CARRIED OUT AS PER FOLLOWING PRESCRIBED QUOTAS
- Open Merit: 60%
- Son of Railway Employees: 20% (including 2% children of deceased Railway employees who have died during active service)
- Ex-Serviceman: 10%
- Orphan / Destitute: 05% (death certificate of father from NADRA is mandatory)

- Only sons of Railway employees are eligible for Railways Employees quota. An affidavit that no other child has availed this facility will have to be submitted by the father/mother of the candidate along with a relationship certificate.
- Candidates who have at any time been convicted of offences involving moral turpitude or have been dismissed by the Central or any Provincial Government department of Pakistan will be considered ineligible for recruitment.
- The vacancies can be decreased or increased, and recruitment process can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason.
AGE LIMIT – Pakistan Railways Jobs in Multan 2026
- 18 to 25 years + 05 years General relaxation in upper age limits up to 30.06.2026.
- In case of Ex-Service Man, the upper age limit is relaxable to the extent of service rendered by him in the Armed Forces or 15 years in addition to item No. 01 whichever is less.
- Candidates belonging to scheduled castes, Buddhist community, age shall be relaxed by 03 years in addition to the relaxation mentioned in item No. 01.
- The age of Government Servants and contract employees who have completed 02 years of continuous government service on the closing date for receipt of applications is relaxed by 10 years in addition to item No. 01 above.
- The age of son of deceased civil servant who died during service is relaxed by 05 years in addition to item No. 01 above.

The attested copies of the following documents must be attached with the application:

- b. CNIC
- c. Domicile
- d. Character Certificate

- h. Four (04) postal envelopes with complete address and active mobile number must be attached.
- i. In case of Two (02) applications for above both categories a separate envelope will be used and it cannot be entertained in one envelope.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION for Pakistan Railways Jobs in Multan 2026
- For each category a postal order worth Rs. 550/- (Five Hundred & Fifty Rupees only) in the name of Divisional Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Multan will be accepted without order.
- No application will be accepted without postal order.
- Postal order Number and date must be mentioned in Bio Data/application.
- The applications will be sent through registered post on the following address:
Assistant Personnel Officer (C.R Section), Divisional Superintendent Office, Pakistan Railways Multan up to 30.06.2026.
- No application will be received by hand.
- The category in which the application is applied must be mentioned on the envelope.
- After expiry of due date, no application will be entertained. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Government Servants (including Railway servants) should submit their application through the proper channel i.e. through Head of their departments along with NOC.
- In case of Ex-Serviceman, discharge book of Armed Services must be attached with the application otherwise it will not be entertained.
- No travelling allowance or other expenses will be paid to the candidates called for running test or interview.
- If any document provided by candidates is found fake/bogus during or after the recruitment process, his appointment will be cancelled.
- The successful candidate will have to undergo specified practical training.
- The successful candidate will have to clear prescribed Medical Examination by the Divisional Medical Officer, Pakistan Railways Multan and clearance by Security Agency.
- All eligible candidates will be called for running test.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview after the clearance of running test.
