Educational Qualification
Master’s or Bachelor’s (Hons.) degree (16 years of education) in:
- GIS / Geomatics
- Computer Science
- Civil Engineering
- Urban / Regional Planning
- Or related discipline with strong GIS / MIS component
- Degree must be from HEC recognized university.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in:
- GIS and database-driven information systems
- Surveying drone operations and software
- Land administration & cadastral mapping
- Resettlement or infrastructure projects
- Experience in International / World Bank funded projects will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess L&AR data, systems, and processes across hydropower projects
- Design & develop integrated GIS / MIS architecture (spatial & attribute databases)
- Prepare system design document with implementation phases & timelines
- Develop dashboards, reports, maps, & data visualization tool
- Configure GIS/database platforms in line with GoP / WAPDA IT policies
- Implement QA/QC protocols & manage data migration
- Design central L&AR/MIS dashboard for real time data aggregation
- Recommend advanced surveying tools (Drone, LiDAR, AI)
- Develop SOPs, user manual, & training materials
- Conduct training sessions & provide on job coaching to staff
- Coordinate with Social and Environmental Specialist for reporting & ESF compliance
- Support system rollout & scaling across additional projects
