Reports to Project Manager

Reporting to the Project Manager, the design mastermind plays a pivotal part in bridging specialized mining moxie with mining operations by furnishing perceptivity through engineering guidance, driving functional effectiveness, fiscal responsibility, and long- term design success. This position is responsible for assaying functional data, preparing engineering designs functional GPS support, conducting field data collection, and product soothsaying.

By integrating engineering principles, the part provides support for optimizing mining operations, relating cost- saving openings, and assessing implicit effectiveness advancements. also, it involves collaboration with Turner Mining Group and customer brigades, icing alignment between commercial objects, point- position prosecution, and nonsupervisory compliance.

This role needs a solid operational mindset. You should be familiar with MSHA safety guidelines and have industry knowledge. The ability to break down complex data into clear recommendations is important. The Project Engineer focuses on improving processes, efficiency, and executing projects. This role is essential for boosting both operational performance and efficiency at Turner Mining Group.

Responsibilities:

• Review Functional reports( cost, safety, product) and dissect data for crucial trends.
• Develop and apply nonstop enhancement enterprise to enhance effectiveness and reduce costs.
• Conduct threat assessments for functional, specialized, and fiscal aspects of mining systems.
• Unite with engineering and operations brigades to optimize mine planning, design, and birth ways.
• Develop and track crucial performance pointers( KPIs) to cover functional performance and drive advancements.

Duties

• Manage Line operation & high perfection GPS systems.
• Develop Drill and amp; Blast pattern, profile, & timing designs and short range plans.
• Produce road designs, cache and waste storehouse designs,/ and others in Hexagon MineSight.
• Operate check drones and attune results.
• Dissect FMS and other data for pitfalls and openings.
• Inspection and advise customer on short range mine plans.

Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with Turner Mining departments and other stakeholders to identify design goals and prosecution strategies.
• Act as a specialist link between customer-specific services and design operations to ensure functional object alignment.
• Share in knowledge-based enterprises, such as internal shops and training, to support functional and logical competencies across brigades.
• Engage with suppliers and service providers to maximize design procurement techniques.

Education and Experience:

• Mining or civil engineering Degree.
• Three years of mining engineering or operational experience.
• Practical familiarity with mining engineering software (preferably Hexagon MineSight or a similar product).

• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Part 107 drone license is preferred.
• Procurement and mining accounting experience is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong problem- working and data analysis capabilities.
• Capability to restate complex engineering data into practicable recommendations.
• Knowledge of drill & blast design, mine haulage analysis, and GPS line operation.
• Familiarity with mine counting and procurement processes( preferred but not needed).
• Results- acquainted with a visionary, problem- working mindset.
• Effective prophet, able of working withcross-functional brigades and guests.
• Capability to work singly and manage multiple precedences in a dynamic terrain.
• Strong documentation & technical writing skills.
