Welspun Flooring is inviting applications from experienced Cost & Management Accounting professionals to join its manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a plant-based environment and have strong expertise in costing, budgeting, and financial analysis. The position plays a key role in supporting management decisions through accurate cost control, profitability analysis, and system-driven insights.
About the Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end plant costing, preparation of management reports, and financial analysis to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Experience in the manufacturing sector is essential, with exposure to textiles considered a strong advantage.
Key Requirements
- Qualification: CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) – Mandatory
- Experience: 5 to 12 years in plant-based costing within a manufacturing setup
- Industry Preference: Manufacturing (Textiles preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor plant-level costing to ensure accurate product and operational cost reporting
- Prepare MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic and operational decisions
- Handle product costing, job costing, and allocation of overheads
- Allocate manpower and utility costs efficiently across operations
- Analyze COGS versus actual BOM and identify cost variances
- Perform inventory valuation and Net Realizable Value (NRV) analysis in compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare segment-wise Profit Before Tax (PBT) and conduct detailed variance analysis
- Implement volume-based and activity-based costing methodologies
- Develop financial dashboards and insights using Power BI
- Ensure effective utilization of SAP modules, including CO, FICO, and MM
- Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, and finance teams to strengthen cost controls
Work Location & Schedule
- Location: Manufacturing Plant, Chandanvelly Village, Hayathnagar–Shabad Mandal,
Rangareddy District, Telangana - Working Days: 6 days a week
- Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
- Note: This is a plant-location-based role
