Qualification:
- DAE / B.Tech. (Mechanical)
Experience:
- A minimum of eight years of relevant post-qualification experience in the oil and gas, fertilizer, chemical, or any other reputable business.
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge and skills in preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting of gas engines, diesel engines, and gas compressors.
- Very familiar with the use of measurement tools, particularly laser alignment tools.
- Must have good team-building, self-motivation, and managerial abilities.
- Assisting with ISO internal audits while adhering to HSE and departmental norms.
- Strong supervision skills are essential.
- Strong analytical capabilities are required.
- Familiar with the CMMS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Major overhauling & troubleshooting of gas/diesel engines (Caterpillar & Waukesha).
- Major overhauling and troubleshooting of gas compressors.
- Estimate spare components for big engine & compressor overhauling.
- Adhering & Implementing to HSE policies and procedures.
- Responsible for implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Inspect all equipment on a regular basis, both physically & visually.
- Complete the corrective repair jobs to your complete satisfaction.
- Investigate & Identify any equipment breakdowns or malfunctions.
- Maintain up to date record of all plant machinery parts maintenance.
- Execute work in safe manner / adhering to corporate standards & procedures.
- Compliance with PPE and PTW system.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and significant job reports.
