JOB OPPORTUNITY AS ADVISOR (T4 & T5) EXT. HPPS
WAPDA requires the services of a qualified and experienced professional as Advisor Tarbela 4th and 5th Extension Hydropower Projects as per following details:
Position:
- Advisor Tarbela 4th and 5th Extension Hydropower
Qualification:
- B.Sc Civil Engineering
Age Limit
- 62 Years
Experience:
- At least 30 years extensive experience in Water and Hydropower Management/ Engineering including 05 years experience of senior technical or managerial level position.
- Specific substantial experience in Water Sector Hydropower Projects as Project Director (experience of working on Tarbela Dam shall be an added advantage).
- Vast experience of contract management, administration, project monitoring and coordination with international financing institutions.
Tenure:
The appointment will be on contract basis initially for a period of 01 year extendable on satisfactory performance of the individual/requirement of the Organization.
Pay Package:-
Competitive market based lumpsum pay package commensurate with qualification/ experience of the individual.
Charter of Duties:
- Review project implementation progress of T4 and T5 HPPS and advise on corrective actions where required.
- Provide guidance on contract administration, variation orders, claims and dispute resolution in coordination with the Consultants.
- Assist in Finalization and closure of outstanding technical and contractual matters under T4 HPP.
- Support the Project Director in ensuring compliance with World Bank financing and reporting requirements.
- Advise on project scheduling, risk management and resource optimization to ensure adherence to timelines.
- Review progress reports, milestone achievements and key deliverables and submit recommendations to Member (Water) and Chairman WAPDA.
- Performance any other related tasks assigned by the Authority in connection with T4 and T5 HPPs.

- Services on lumpsum pay package shall not be regularized at any stage.
- Application carrying incomplete/ incorrect information or received after last date of receipt shall be rejected. Any information/ documents of candidate found bogus at any stage during induction or later in service shall result in termination thereof.
