An international organization has announced a career opportunity for qualified professionals under a US Department of State (US DoS)–funded health project. The position is based in Hyderabad, Pakistan.

Position: Senior Manager HR & Administration

The Senior Manager HR & Administration is a full-time role responsible for overseeing human resources and administrative operations within JSL. The selected candidate will work closely with internal teams and management, supervise staff, support project planning, and ensure compliance with US Government, Pakistan Government, and JSL HQ policies and procedures. The role involves multitasking across various operational areas in support of project objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with international NGOs, development organizations, or donor-funded projects, including 5 years in a senior HR or management role
  • Proven experience working on USAID or U.S. Department of State–funded projects, with strong knowledge of USG rules, regulations, and personnel compliance
  • Experience in administrative procurement and office operations in line with USG regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage HR policies, procedures, and systems, including compensation and benefits, performance management, staff onboarding, and exit processes
  • Strong understanding of Pakistan labor laws and experience implementing compliant HR policies
  • Experience with organizational security policies, including facilities oversight, third-party security providers, security SOPs, and emergency response (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with online timesheet and leave management systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment and perform under pressure
  • Willingness to travel as required to support project and operational needs
