Wing Head – New Initiatives, Governance & Controls (VP / SVP)

Reporting to:
Divisional Head – Payment Services

Educational / Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
  • Candidates having a Master’s degree and / or relevant diploma / certification(s) will be preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 08 years of banking experience, out of which 04 years of experience in Payment Services related areas

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required

  • Hands-on expertise in Project Management
  • Hands-on expertise of consolidation / centralization of processes
  • Hands-on expertise of system implementations for Treasury, Remittance, Cash Management etc.
  • Expertise of process-engineering in Payment Services Areas
  • Expertise in implementation of Business Continuity Planning
  • Good communication and writing skills

Outline of Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify potential areas where payment services can be automated and use technology to create a plan for delivering these services.
  • Work with various departments within the bank to bring together payment services functions across the entire organization.
  • Promote collaboration and efficiency in payment services activities that are currently carried out across the group.
  • Represent payment services to help with ongoing or future bank-wide initiatives.
  • Collaborate with all payment services departments to improve and restructure their processes.
  • Help department heads in improving their operational procedures and system controls.
  • Deal with audit feedback from both internal and external sources and take steps to reduce the chances of similar issues happening again.
  • Support all payment service areas in creating and maintaining their business continuity plans.
  • Coordinate and ensure the successful implementation of payment services related to industry-wide projects and initiatives.
  • Support relevant business units in the development of new products and services.
  • Lead and supervise payment services departments in the creation and maintenance of their management information systems.
  • Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Assessment / Interview(s)

Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview(s).

Employment Type

The employment will be on contractual basis, for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s policy / rules.
